Simple, Quick, Easy & Healthy..!
Like everyone, I usually make salad of Steamed Black channa for my lunch. But I make sure to always store its water in the refrigerator.
I utilise the refrigerated Channa water, by preparing this quick soupy bowl of rice and relish it the same night 😍 Tangy- Spicy Nutritious Meal 😍 for my early dinner.
I recommend adding grated paneer or small fist of whole channa in it to increase the protein content.

1.In a medium hot pan, add oil, rai, zeera, chopped ginger, green chillies & curry leaves. Sautee it well.
2. Now add chopped onions & tomatoes to it.
3. To this mixture, add salt , red chilli powder, turmeric powder & coriander powder. After mixing it well, add boiled black channa water to it & let it boil for a minute.
4. To this liquid, add left over boiled brown / white rice. Cook for a minute & serve hot.
