Subscribe 👉🏻👉🏻https://m.youtube.com/user/savithasri Instagram👉🏻👉🏻https://www.instagram.com/savithaak/ ingredients: urad dal whole 1 cup idli rice 2 cups salt For Masala: curry leaves a few coriander chopped 1/2 cup minced ginger and green chilli 1 tb sp each soaked channa dal 1/2 cup(soak for 1hr) method: 1.wash and soak urad dal and rice separately for 2-3 hrs. 2.grind urad dal at first to a fluffy consistency. it takes around 20-25 minutes. 3.grind rice separately using very less water for not more than 5-6 minutes. consistency should be coarse. 4.mix both batters very well, add salt and ferment overnight. 5.next morning add masala ingredients and mix well, pour this batter into a pan containg banana leaf. tap it once and steam cook for 20 minutes. serve with simple coconut chutney and butter. 6.you can make thatte idlys as well.use banana leaf if you have, it gives very nice aroma. note👉1.if the batter is not fermented enough kadubu may turn hard, in that case use 1 tsp plain enosalt,stir quickly and pour immediately. 2.you can make this kadubu using normal idly batter too, that's made with idly rava. 3.to the Masala fresh coconut pieces can also be added,it enhances the taste. coconut chutney shredded coconut 1/2 cup fried gram 2 tb sp green chilli 3-4 ginger a small piece curry leaves a few tamarind a small piece salt as needed. for seasoning: oil 1 tsp mustard 1tsp urad dal 1tsp currly leaves a few hing a pinch grind all the ingredients together with water and add in seasoning.

Subscribe 👉🏻👉🏻https://m.youtube.com/user/savithasri Instagram👉🏻👉🏻https://www.instagram.com/savithaak/ chocolate cake: dry ingredients: Maida 1 1/2 cup corn flour 1 tb sp cocoa powder 3 tb sp salt a pinch baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp wet ingredients: milk 1/2 rd cup oil 1/3 rd cup sugar powder 1 cup vanilla essence 1 tsp vinegar 1 tsp chocolate syrup 1 tb sp curd 1/3 rd cup sugar syrup 1/4 th cup(sugar dissolved in water) method : 1.place a pressure cooker on stove,add in 1/2 cup salt, place in a small plate, close the lid and preheat on low flame. do not forget to remove gasket and weight from the lid. 2.grease a cake tin with oil and place in a parchment paper and keep it aside. 2.sift all the dry ingredients to a bowl and add all the wet ingredients except vinegar to another bowl. mix well and pour into dry ingredients. mix using spatula or whisk. do not over mix the batter as your cake may turn hard.finally add in 1 tsp vinegar and fold the batter once. pour into the cake tin and place in cooker. bake for 35-40 minutes on low flame(important step) or until its done. 4.once it's done take out and let it cool for 5 minutes before flipping it onto a rack.after five minutes flip onto a rack and cover with a towel and let it cool completely before cutting. now the cake is ready , this can be served as it is. to make truffle cake: chocolate truffle icing or ganache ingredients: heavy cream 100ml chocochips 100gms or dark chocolate(200 gms can also be used for 100ml cream) butter 1 tsp method : heat cream on low flame. When it starts boiling add in chocochips and set it aside for 2 minute.after two minutes add butter and stir well, you get a glossy truffle icing.store this in room temperature for 2-3 hrs before using. to make cream frosting, I used 100ml cream and whipped for 5 minutes added some ganache at room temperature and mix once and froze. the same truffle icing can also be used in between layers if you use 100 ml cream and 200 gms choco chips. that way your icing gets thicker. once the cake cools completely, take out the top most layer. now make two layers of this cake. place the first layer on a plate and prick it all over using a fork. soak it with sugar syrup. add some cream frosting and spread it well.place second layer of cake on this and repeat the same procedure. finally spread remaining icing all over the cake and finish it off. refrigerate for 15-20 minutes. after 20 minutes take it out and pour the ganache all over the cake and shake it gently to cover it completely. wipe out the extra ganache from the plate and refrigerate for 2-3 hrs before cutting. Note👉 the same cake can be done in oven too. Preheat oven to 180 degree celsius and bake for 30-35 minutes.

Ingredients:
maida 2 cups
salt 1/2 tsp
milk powder 1 tb sp
active dried yeast 2tsp
sugar 2 tsp
milk 1cup
butter 3 tb sp

masala ingredients:
chopped coriander, curry leaves,dill leaves(optional)
red chilli flakes 1 tsp
cumin seeds 1 tsp

to prepare stuffing:
ingredients:
oil 2 tsp
jeera 1 tsp
curry leaves a few
salt
turmeric
amchur powder 1/4th tsp
red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
garam masala 1 tsp
boiled potato 4
chopped onion 1 cup

method:
1.boil potatoes, cool down, strain all the water,remove skin mash and keep ready in a bowl
2.to a pan add oil,once heated add in jeera,curry leaves,onion saute for a minute.
3.add in salt,turmeric, amchur powder,red chilli powder,garam masala powder and mix well.finally add in mashed potato and mix very well.cool down completely before stuffing inside bun.

activating yeast : in a bowl take sugar and dried yeast. now add1/2 cup luke warm milk to it. stir once , close and keep inside warm place. rest for 10 minutes.
in a broad vessel take maida,milk powder and salt, mix well.also add in masala ingredients to the flour.after 10 minutes add in the proofed yeast to it and mix once.add 1/2 cup milk and make a very sticky dough as shown in video. now add 2 tb sp butter and knead well for minimun 10 minutes. apply oil on this dough and cover with towel or cling wrap. place inside warm place and wait until it doubles in size. takes around an hour. after one hour , beat the dough well to take out the air bubbles and knead once again nicely for minimum 10 minutes. this step is important. now make equall sized balls , knead each ball again well stuff potato masala inside,place them inside a well greased tray . again place inside warm place covering the top gfor one hour or until they double in size. preheat your microwave @200 degree celcius for 5-10 minutes. after one hour milk wash the surface of all buns. and bake it for around 15 to 20 minutes. once done, remove the tray from microwave and quickly apply butter on top of baked buns. this helps them to turn soft.
Enjoy hot masala bun with a cup of coffee/tea.
