Select and drag the desired app to the desired location on the home screen. To move an app, select and hold the desired app. Drag to the desired location, then release. To remove an app, select and drag the desired app to "Remove" at the top of the screen. To uninstall an app, select and hold the desired app, then drag it to "Uninstall" at the top of the screen. Select "OK" to confirm. Change Wallpaper. To change the wallpaper, select and hold an empty part of the home screen. Select "Wallpapers". Navigate to and select the desired wallpaper. Live wallpapers or Infiniti wallpapers can increase battery consumption. Select "Set wallpaper". Select the desired display option. Change Home Screens. To add a new home screen, select and hold an app. Drag the app to the right edge of the home screen to create a new home screen. To edit the home screen panel, select and hold an empty spot on the home screen. To rearrange the order of the home screens, select and hold the desired home screen panel to move, drag to desired location, and release. To remove a home screen, remove all apps from the home screen.

The device supports dual SIM cards and supports a microSD card up to Gigabytes. To install a SIM or microSD card, with the device facedown, use a screwdriver to remove the back plate. Use the notch to remove the battery. To install a microSD card, slide the microSD card tray down to unlock it; then flip it up; place the microSD card with the gold contacts facing down and the notch to the bottom left; flip the microSD card tray down; then slide it up to lock it into place. To install a SIM card, slide the desired SIM card tray up to unlock it; then flip it up; place the SIM card with the gold contacts facing down and the notch to the top left; flip the SIM card tray down; then slide it down to lock it into place. To insert the battery, line up the gold contacts and gently press down until it clicks into place; reattach the backplate. Power On or Off. To turn the device on, press and hold the Power / End Call button. The device will take a moment to power on. To turn the device off, press and hold the Power / End Call button. Press the Right Directional button to highlight "OK"; then press the Select button. Device Layout. To lock the device, press and hold the Star Lock button; then release. To unlock the device, press and hold the Star Lock button; then release. Press the Volume buttons to increase or decrease the volume. Press the App Tray button to access apps. Press the Back button to return to the previous screen. Double press the App Tray button to access recently used apps. Press the Power / End Call button to return to the home screen at any time. From the home screen, press the Right Directional button to access missed events. Press the Up Directional button to quickly access the Contacts app. Press the Down Directional button to quickly access the Camera app. Press the Select button to quickly access the Messaging app. To access notifications, press the Options button; then press the Select button to select "My Notifications". Long press the App Tray button to activate torch mode. You can also quickly activate torch mode by shaking the device twice.

From the home screen, select the Camera app. Alternately, you can also access the camera from the lock screen by swiping the Camera icon up. You can also open the Camera app quickly by pressing the Power button twice. To cycle through the camera's flash options, select the Flash icon. To switch between the rear-facing camera and the front-facing camera, select the Switch Camera icon. Select the Menu icon to take a picture with different camera modes. Swipe left to view more camera modes. To take a picture, select the Capture icon. To take a screenshot, press and hold the Volume Down and Power/Lock buttons simultaneously. Take a Video. To take a video, from the Camera app, select the Record icon. To capture a still picture while recording a video, select the Capture icon. Select the Pause icon to pause recording. How to Set Up & Access Voicemail on Your Sonim XP8 | AT&T Wireless

Voicemail: Set Up Voicemail.
To set up voicemail, from the home screen, swipe up to access the apps tray.
Scroll to and select the Visual Voicemail app.
Select "NEXT".
Review the prompts, then select "ALLOW" to continue.
Select "ACTIVATE VISUAL VOICEMAIL".
If you are a new customer and have not established a voicemail box, you will be prompted to choose a password and greeting.
Access & Check Voicemail.
When you receive a new voicemail, the Voicemail icon will appear in the notification bar.
From the Visual Voicemail app, select the desired message to listen to the voicemail.
Select the Play icon to begin the message.
Select the Stop icon to stop the message.
To play it again, select the Play icon.
To delete the message, select the Delete icon.
Select "DELETE" to confirm.
You can also access your voicemail to check your messages by selecting and holding the One (key from the dial pad.
Change Voicemail Password.
To change your voicemail password, from the Visual Voicemail app, select the Menu icon.
Select "Settings".
Select "Change Password".
Enter the new password.
Enter the new password again to confirm.
Then select "CONTINUE".
You can also access your voicemail to change your password by selecting and holding the One (key from the dial pad and following the prompts).
If you have forgotten your existing voicemail password, you will not be able to access your voicemail until you reset your voicemail password.
To reset your voicemail password, go to att.com/resetvm.
Voicemail Settings.
To access voicemail settings for things like updating your voicemail greeting and notification alerts, from the Visual Voicemail app, select the Menu icon.
Select "Settings".
Edit the desired settings.
