ስለተመለከታቹ በጣም አመሰግናለሁ። Thank you for watching! » STAY CONNECTED « Instagram: Facebook: E መመሪያ ለማግኘት ቪዲዮውን ይመልከቱ » INGREDIENTS « 1 cup diced onion 2 tablespoon of salt 1/4 cup of vegetable oil 2 tablespoons of garlic & ginger paste 1 tablespoon of tomato paste 3 tablespoon of Berbere Fresh rosemary & thyme 1 cup diced cherry/plum tomatoes 1 medium sized squash 2 - 3 cups of water Optional : Ethiopian Spice blends such as Nech Kimmem, Tikur Kimmem, Abish, Mekelesha and Korerima » DIRECTIONS « In a medium sized pot add the diced onions, salt & oil and cook until onions are browned. Followed by the garlic & ginger paste. Then add the tomato paste and cook for 5 mins. Add the Berbere and cook for 10 mins stirring frequently. Add a tiny splash of water every now and then and really allow the flavour of the Berbere to develop. After 10 mins add the spices if you have them and also the fresh thyme & rosemary leaves. Followed by the diced tomatoes and cook for 10 mins. After 10 mins the onion, garlic, tomatoes and Berbere should make a paste. The oil will start to surface as well. Don’t worry it’s a good sign. Add the diced squash into the pot. Cook the squash slowly for 10 mins without adding any water. This will allow the flavours to penetrate and really flavour the squash. Be sure to stir frequently to avoid burning. Add the water, increase the heat and let the stew come to a boil for about 10 mins. Lower the heat, check if the squad is cooked and turn heat off.
