Bombay Chatni is a popular side dish in many restaurants in South India. it can be served with idli, Dosa, poori, chappathi, etc. It is simple and easy to make and tastes great too Ingredients Besan(gram flour) 2 tbsp Oil 1 tbsp mustard seeds 1/2 Tsp jeera 1/2 tsp hing salt to taste lemon juice 1 lemon tomatoes Ginger a small pice green chillies 2 to 3 Onions 3 Turmeric powder a pinch Curry leaves coriander leaves Channa Dal 1/2 Tsp

How to make Onion chutney (Hotel Type)? Actually this is the variation of traditional onion chutney by adding 1 tbspn of Chenna dal, 1 tbspn of Urad dal. Is one of the favourite chutney in south india. If you going for a restaurant in south india and if you order idli, dosa, Bhajra Dosa, or Pongal you will get this chutney with the dish. It is very easy to prepare and the taste is amazing. Ingredients for Onion Chutney (Hotel Type) Onion – 2 No. Tomato – 2 No. Chenna dal – 1 tbspn Urad dal – 1 tbspn Red chilli – 4No. Salt to taste Oil to fry the ingredients Preparation Keep the pan in flame add little oil and let the oil get heated up and fry the red chilli, remove the red chilly after get fried then add chenna dal when the chenna dal get half fried then you have to add the urad dal and you fry both the dal in golden brown colour. Remove from the flame then add onion and let the onion get fried well then add the tomato and fry. Let mixture to cool for 5 to 10 minutes then add all in the mixer to grind. Water not required as tomato and onion has some water so that is sufficient to grind the mixture. For seasoning fry, the Mustard and curry leaves and add it to the chutney. The Delicious Onion Chutney (Hotel type) is ready.
