Learn how to make Quick Five Minutes Veg Schezewan Rice Recipe - Chinese Main Course Recipe By Ruchi Bharani One of the most popular dishes that comes to our mind when we talk of Chinese cuisine is Schezwan Rice. Check out chef Ruchi Bharani's take on this popular Chinese dish. Ingredients: 1 bunch finely chopped spring onion 1 tsp. finely chopped garlic 1 or 2 whole red chilli 100 gms finely chopped carrot 100 gms french beans 2-3 tbsp. schezwan sauce 3 tbsp. oil Salt to taste 1 1/2 cup rice 1 tsp. soya sauce 2 tbsp. vinegar Method: - Heat oil in a wok. - Once the oil is hot, add the garlic, red chili, french beans and carrots and stir fry these vegetables on a high flame for about 1 minute. - Add schezwan sauce to the above ingredients and mix it well with the veggies. - Add a little bit of soya sauce and vinegar along with the boiled rice and mix all the ingredients well. - Add salt to taste and toss the rice and vegetables to mix all the ingredients well. Take Ethiopia for example, due to their Christian Faith periods of fasting, meaning a vegan diet take place throughout their year, thus creating many recipes and dished that are suitable for vegans. The same in many ways can also be said about Indian culture and Rastafari.
Vegetables, beans, pulses and some grains are suitable for vegan and even gluten free diets. Teff (Tef) is the smallest grain in the world and is 100% free of gluten, manly used and grown in Ethiopia East Afica, it is what Injera or Enjera is made from. A sough dough flat pancake bread. Rice flour is also a great way to remain free of gluten. Foods made from grains (and grain-like plants) that do notcontain harmful gluten, including: Corn in all forms (corn flour, corn meal, grits,etc.). Rice in all forms (white, brown, basmati and enriched rice). Also amaranth, buckwheat (kasha), Montina, millet, quinoa, teff, sorghum and soy.
