आलु पराठा | Aloo Paratha Recipe | Dhaba Style Punjabi Aloo Paratha | Potato Stuffed Paratha

Aloo paratha is made by stuffing aloo or potato that is spiced up using different spices. This can be a good breakfast recipe or a perfect option for lunch box. Let’s learn to make this yummy aloo paratha. Ingredients: For Cover: • 1 1/2 cups Wheat flour • Salt to taste • 3/4 Water • Oil For stuffing: • 2 medium size Potatoes • 1 small or 1/2 big finely chopped Onion • Finely chopped Green chillies • Coriander powder • 1/4 tsp Red chilli powder • 1/2 tsp Amchur powder • Finely chopped Coriander For Making Paratha: • Butter Method: For Cover: • Take wheat flour into a dish. Add salt and mix well. • Add a little water at a time and knead the dough. • Do not add more water at a time. • The dough should neither be too thick nor too thin. It should have medium consistency. • Add oil and knead for another minute. • Transfer the dough into a bowl and coat it with a little oil. • Cover and give it a standing time of about 30-45 minutes. For Stuffing: • Take potatoes and boil them. Peel and mash the potatoes. • Add onion, green chilies, coriander powder, red chili powder, amchur powder, salt to taste and lots of finely chopped coriander. • You can add lemon juice instead of amchur powder. • Mix well. Cover and let it rest it for about 10-15 minutes. • Stuffing is already. For Making Paratha: • Heat up a pan on medium heat. • Take the dough and knead it for another minute. • Take a small ball of dough and dip it in dry wheat flour. • Roll a poli of about 6”. Roll it along the edges and let it be a bit thick at the center. • Take stuffing and make round ball of it. Press a little and put it on poli. • Bring the edges of poli together as we do for modak. • Remove the excess dough and keep it aside. • Sprinkle a little dry flour on both sides of the paratha. Roll the paratha. • It should be a little thick. Don’t make it too thick. • Transfer the paratha on hot pan. • Roast for about 2-3 minutes until small bubbles begin to appear on the upper side of paratha. • Flip over and spread butter and roast from other side for another 2 minutes. • Flip over and spread butter on this side as well. • You can use ghee or oil instead of butter. • Roast until pararha gets nice golden colour form both sides. • Aloo paratha is already. Serve it with pickle and curd. This is authentic, traditional Maharashtrian recipe. The main ingredients of this are jaggery or gudh and sesame seeds. These help to keep our body warm during cold winter. This is a little crunchy and simply delicious. Let’s learn this healthy and tasty gul poli. Ingredients: For Cover: • 2 cups Wheat flour • 1 cup Maida • A pinch of salt • 1 1/4 cups Water • Oil For Stuffing: • 1/4 cup white Sesame seeds • 2 tsp besan • 1 cup Chikkicha Gudh / Jaggery • 1/4 cup Roasted peanut powder • 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder Method: For Cover: • Take wheat flour, maida in a dish. You can also add 1 or 2 tsp besan if you want. • Add a pinch of salt and mix well. • Add a little water at a time and make dough of it. Do not add much water at a time. • The dough should neither too thick nor too thin. It should have medium consistency. • For 2 cups wheat flour and 1 cup maida, 1 1/4 cup water is enough. • You can use milk instead of water for kneading the dough. • You can also add 2 tsp hot oil while kneading the dough. • In the end add 1 tsp oil and knead again. • Transfer the dough into a bowl and coat it with a little oil. • Cover and let it rest for 30-45 minutes. For Stuffing: • Heat up a pan on medium heat. • Add sesame seeds and roast them on medium heat until they get golden colour for about 5-6 minutes. • Transfer them into blender jar and blend it. • Do not make fine powder. Coarse texture of sesame seeds should be retained. • Add 2 tsp oil in the same pan and add besan. • Roast besan on medium until it gets nice golden colour. Turn off the gas. • Take chikkicha gudh into a bowl. • Add roasted besan, roasted peanut powder, roasted sesame seeds’ powder and cardamom powder. • You can also use nutmeg powder if you want. • Mix everything well with hands. • Once mixed well, transfer a little mixture at a time into blender jar and blend it. • You also can use food processor for it. Stuffing is already. To make gul poli: • Take the dough and knead it once more. • Take a small ball of it and roll it to make even on rolling board. • Roll a poli. Make it a bit thick at the centre and a little thin at the edges. • If you have kneaded the dough well, you don’t need to use any dry flour or oil while rolling poli. • If the dough is sticking to rolling board, then you can use wheat flour or maida. • Heat up a pan parallel while we roll poli. Add stuffing into the poli. • Take some stuffing and make nice and round ball of it. • Press it a bit at the centre and put it on poli. • Bring the edges as we do for paratha or modak and remove excess dough. • Roll poli a little thin than regular chapaties. • When poli is ready, transfer it on hot pan. • Face the side at which we see more stuffing upwards and other side towards the pan. • Cook for 2 minutes and when bubbles begin to appear, flip poli over. • Roast for 2 minutes from another side as well. • Apply a little ghee and flip over. Apply ghee on other side too. • You can use oil too. But a little smell of oil is left behind when poli cools down. • Do not roast gul poli on high heat. Roast it on medium heat only. • Roast gul poli a little longer that regular chapaties from both sides. • Turn off the gas. Gul poli is already. • You can have it as it is or it goes well with milk too. • It goes fantastic with lots of ghee. • Do not have gul poli when it is hot. You tongue may burn due to hot gudh. • You can store gul poli in air tight container when it cools down. • It has got shelf life of 2-3 weeks. This can be a good travelling menu. Gulachi dashmi is traditional Maharashtrian healthy recipe of sweet roti ,which is always enjoyed during travelling and kids also like to eat it in tiffin box. You can store it for 5-6 days in airtight container. So try this .. Do remember to like and share this recipe. Also subscribe my channel for more videos. Ingredients: for 6 medium sized dashmi . 500 gm (5 cup)wheat flour (little course) . 250 gm (2 cup)organic jaggery . 1 cup milk+ little more if require . 1 cup pure ghee . 1 regular spoon salt Method; . Add 1 cup milk with jaggery and mix it well to dissolve the jaggery. . Take wheat flour in big plate,add salt and 1/2 cup melted ghee in it. . Mix the flour properly till crumbly textured flour will formed. . Avoid the lumps. . strain the jaggery mixture to remove impurities. . Add it in crumbled flour and mix well. . Again add milk as per requirement and knead soft dough. . Place the dough in box and cover with lid. . Allow to rest dough for 10 minutes. . After 10 minutes take some portion of dough and give it a round shape,then flatten it with palm. . Roll round shape dashmi with roller pin having thickness about 1 cm. . Roast dashmi from both sides on nonstick/thick tawa for 8-10 minutes on low flame. . Apply ghee on it. . Keep turning and roast till brown spots appears on it. . Transfer the dashmi in a plate and again apply little ghee on it. . Roast dashmies such a way and keep it one by one on each other. . When all dashmies are ready, separate them and allow to cool at room temperature. . Wrap the dashmies in aluminium foil or cotton cloth and store it in airtight container. . Enjoy dashmi with pickle,ghee,chutney,thecha.. tip: . Always use organic jaggery for dashmi. . Always roast dashmi on low flame. . Always use pure ghee.

Masala paratha is a very easy and simple recipe. This can be made from the ingredients easily available in your pantry. If the dough is ready then this can be a quick breakfast option. Plain paratha is spiced up with some spices and served. Do try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and comment.

Ingredients:
• 2 cups Wheat flout
• Salt to taste
• Oil
• Kanda lasun masala
• Red chili powder
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves

Method:
• Take wheat flour into a dish and add salt to taste.
• Mix well and add a little water at a time and knead dough as we
knead chapatti dough.
• Add a little oil and knead again.
• Transfer the dough into a bowl, and spread a little oil all over it.
• Cover and rest the dough for about 15-20 minutes.
• Take the dough and knead it once more to make it even.
• Take a little dough ball and make it even.
• Dip the dough ball into dry flour and roll a little thick chapatti.
• Spread oil all over the chapatti.
• Spread kanda lasun masala, red chili powder, a little salt and
coriander leaves.
• Add salt just enough to balance the taste of the spices.
• You can use kala masala, malvani masala, varhadi masala, saoji
masala or any stored masals that you have instead of kanda
lasun masala.
• Roll the coriander leaves a little with rolling pin so that these
won’t fall off.
• Fold the paratha as we fold the paper for making fan.
• Fold the side having masala inside to make a ball.
• Roll the ball into a little thick paratha again.
• Heat up a pan on medium heat.
• Transfer the rolled paratha on the pan.
• After roasting for about 3-4 minutes from one side flip the
paratha over and roast form other side for about 2-3 minutes.
• Spread a little more oil and flip it over.
• Spread oil from other side as well.
• Roast the paratha well from both sides.
• Take the paratha off the pan into a dish and crush it a little from
all sides so that it will get nice layers.
• Masala paratha is already.
• You can have this paratha as it is.
