First, does your phone have liquid or physical damage? If your phone has liquid or physical damage, unfortunately, it's not covered by warranty. If you're enrolled in AT&T Mobile Insurance, Protection Pack, or Multi-Device Protection Pack, you can file your insurance claim online at or you can call Asurion at 888-562-8662. Remember, you must file your claim within days of the date it was damaged. Second, is your device defective? If your device has no physical or liquid damage, use the Troubleshoot & Resolve tool on to determine whether your device is defective. Thirdly, determine if your device is within the warranty coverage period. If you originally purchased a new device, the warranty coverage is up to 365 days from the date of purchase. If you purchased an AT&T Certified Restored device, the warranty coverage is up to 90 days from the date of purchase. If you purchased an AT&T Certified Pre-Owned device, it doesn't have a warranty; you can return the device within 14 days of purchase. Please refer to your original receipt for limited warranty coverage details. If your device is under warranty, then you have a few options. For Apple devices, please call 1-800-myiPhone. For non-Apple devices, call AT&T Warranty at 800-331-0500.
