TANDALYACHI KURDAI is made up of rice flour. made during summer ,sundried and store for months. Its an Authentic maharashtrian recipe simple and tasty//RICE CHAKLI/ Ingredients- rice flour 250 gms salt papad khaar- 10 gms ( sodium bicorbonate) asafetida-2 pinch oil Method- wash and soak rice for 3 days in water .change water every morning. third day drain the water and spread the rice of cotton cloth and dry it under fan for whole night or else can sundry also for 3 to 4 hours. once dry grind the rice into flour. now take equal mount of water as much of rice flour. boil the water ,put papad khaar,salt and asafetida .once water starts boiling add rice flour mix well .cook for 3 to 4 mins on low to medium flame . switch off the gas and cover with lid and keep for 5 mins.then take the flour and knead it . take water ocassionaly while kneading and make a soft dough. at end apply some oil on palms and knead for few seconds. now take chakli maker apply oil and put dough in it and make chakli as per size required. dry under fan for whole night and next day under sun for few hours or else can sundry for a day . tandalachi kurdai is ready. once dry completely. store in air tight container. can store for a year. when needed remove and deep fry and serve in lunch and dinner as a side dish. .

One of the easiest crispy snack - Pohyanche papad, is one of those recipe that one can relish any day. Here's the recipe to make Pohyanche papad in no time. Ingredients: • 1 1/2 cup Pohe / Flattened rice • 3/4 cup Water • 1/2 tsp Papad khar / Papda Purchase • 1 tsp Red chili powder • 1/4 tsp Hing / Asafetida • Salt to taste Method: • Take pohe and blend them into blender. Blend into fine powder. • Sieve poha flour through sooji sieve. • Take out some poha flour and keep it aside. • Take water into a sauce pan and add papad khar, red chili powder and asafetida. Bring it to boil. • When water boils nicely, turn off the gas and let the mixture cool down a little. • When water mixture cools down a little add a little water at a time into poha flour and knead it into a little thick dough. • Blend the ready dough in the blender so that it will be nice and uniform. • Take a small ball of dough and roll it into dry flour. • Roll the ball into thin papad with the help of rolling board and pin. • Sundry the ready papad under hot sun for at least 2 days. • Keep under hot sun for 4-5 hours and flip over to dry from other side as well for remaining time. • You can make about 10 papad, bigger then medium size from 1 cup flour. Tip: • Do not knead more than 1 cup flour into dough. If you knead more flour, it will absorb the moisture or water and get dry. It becomes difficult to blend dry flour. Papad is sun dried dish which can store for a year.
you can enjoy deep fried or roasted papads with meal.
There are many types of papad with various ingredients and different methods.
In this video I am showing very simple and tasty rice flour papad recipe.
It is deep fry papad recipe..

Ingredients for rice flour papad:

.2 Cup (250 gm) rice flour
.1 regular spoon salt
.1 regular spoon papadkhar(fulsoda)
.1 tbsp oil
.3 cup boiled hot water


Method:
. Take rice flour,salt,papadkhar in a bowl and mix well.
. Add hot water in it and mix well .
. Grease a plate with little oil and transfer mixture in it.
. Boil water in a big pan /steamer.
. Place mixture plate in it, cover it with lid,
allow to steam it for 30 minutes on medium flame.
. After 30 minutes, transfer steamed mixture in big plate.
. Rub hot mixture with bottom of a pot for few minutes.
. Then apply little oil on palm and rub mixture properly till smooth
dough will form.
. Take small portion of dough ,and place remaining dough in
steamer.
. Make small round balls of dough.
. Grease little oil on plate and roller.
. place dough on plate and roll it till thin and round shape .
. Roll all papads and allow to completely dry it in sunlight for a
day.
. papads are ready store it in airtight dry container .
. Deep fry papad in oil, when you want to eat.


Tip :
1 always wash, completely dry and then grind rice for rice flour.
2 always try to roll papad with hot dough.
