EASIEST Okonomiyaki Recipe (Hiroshima Style)

PURCHASE ONLINE on Amazon Okonomiyaki Sauce : http://goo.gl/XvXuuM Aonori : http://goo.gl/Dv4yYo Bonito Flakes : http://goo.gl/Xu8Gbr Soy Sauce : http://goo.gl/IPxOML Tenkasu : http://goo.gl/EkfKpg INGREDIENTS: (2 okonomiyaki pancakes) (fried noodles) 2 batches egg noodles okonomiyaki sauce soy sauce 1/2 cup flour 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup bonito flakes 2 stalks green onions 1/3 cabbage 1/2 cup bean sprouts 2 tbsp tenkasu 6 thinly sliced pork belly 2 eggs 2 tbsp aonori DIRECTIONS: We will be making one okonomiyaki at a time so we will be using half the ingredients at a time. First thinly slice the cabbage and set aside. Next, chop up the green onions. To make the batter, combine the flour and water and mix it up. Cook the noodles in the frying pan. Once it's warmed up, season with 1 tspn soy sauce and 1 tbsp okonomiyaki sauce. Adjust the seasonings to your taste preference. Transfer noodles to a plate. In the same frying pan, pour 1/3 okonomiyaki batter onto frying pan and spread thinly. Sprinkle some bonito flakes and place half the cabbage, bean sprouts, green onions and tenkasu on top. Lay 3 strips of pork on the top along with a little more of the batter. Carefully flip it over and cook until the pork is thoroughly cooked and the cabbage has reduced down. Once it's done, transfer to a plate. Put the noodles back into the frying pan and shove the noodles to the outside. Crack an egg in the middle and lightly break it apart. Once it's halfway cooked, place the noodles on top of the egg. Transfer the okonomiyaki on top of the noodles and cook for another 30 seconds or so. Press down gently with your spatula. Put a plate on top and carefully flip it over. Brush okonomiyaki sauce on top and sprinkle with aonori. We would like to have as many people enjoy our videos.
