Super soft buns stuffed with meat. Great recipe for lunch or brunch. Perfect for kids! Ingredients: 4 cups (500g) flour 1 tablespoon instant dry yeast 1 tablespoon sugar 2 teaspoons salt 1/4 cup (60ml) vegetable oil 1¼ cups (300ml) water 10oz (285g) ground beef 1 large onion 3 tablespoons olive oil 3 crushed garlic cloves 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 1 teaspoon thyme 1/2 teaspoon cumin 1/4 cup (35g) pine nuts 1 egg Sesame seeds Directions: 1. Make the dough: in a mixing bowl place flour, yeast and sugar. Mix. Add salt, water and oil. Knead the dough 7-8 minutes. 2. Transfer the dough to greased bowl and let rise for 1 hour. 3. Meanwhile make the filling: over medium heat sauté chopped onion for 2-3 minutes, add crushed garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes more. Add ground beef, salt, pepper, thyme, cumin and pine nuts. cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring constantly. Let cool. 4. Divide the dough into 16-20 equal pieces and shape each piece into ball. Roll the balls into 3-3.5" (7-9cm) diameter circle. Place 1 tablespoon of the filling in the center, close the dough tight and shape a ball. Place all the balls in a baking try, cover and let rest 20 minutes. 5. Preheat oven to 355F (180C). 6. Brush the buns with egg wash, sprinkle with sesame. Ingredients for chicken Bun All Purpose Flour - 2 cups Salt - 1/2 tsp Yeast - 1 tsp Oil - 2 tsp Sugar - 1 tsp Warm Water and Milk Milk Powder - 1 tbsp Chicken - 1 cup ( Marinated in ginger garlic paste, red chilly powder and salt ) Onion - 1 cup Ginger - 1 tsp Tomato ketchup - 1 tsp Soya sauce - 1 tsp Pepper powder - 1 tsp Vinegar - 1 tbsp Egg - 1 Seaseme seeds Method 1. Mix Flour, yeast, salt, sugar, milk powder, oil mix it add warm water and milk mixture and makes a soft dough. 2 Cover it and let it rest for 2 hours. 3. To make the chicken filling, saute some chopped onion with garlic paste and marinated chicken and Cook it. 4. Add tomato ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar, pepper powder mix it. 5 Blend it to make a fine filling. 6. After the dough has doubled up knead it for 2 more minutes. 7. Divide it into 8 equal parts and roll each ball, place the filling and cover it with all the sides and seal it well. 8. Give an egg wash, sprinkle some sesame seeds on top and Bake it in a 240-degree pre-heated oven for 30 minutes.

To reheat you can use Microwave or use toaster oven. Today in Grey Pot lets learn how to make Chicken puffs with Homemade Puff Pastry Sheets Click on the below link for the video with audio tutorial https://youtu.be/HrEIUnIQ-Ig Ingredients for Puff Pastry Sheets All Purpose flour - 2 cups Butter - 400 grams Salt Lime Juice - 2 tbsp Water Mix flour, salt, lime juice and 2 tbsp butter and add enough water to make a soft dough and refrigerate for 30 minutes. then take it out roll it into a square shape and place the butter block in the middle and cover from all sides and refrigerate again for 30 minutes. Repeat the same process 3 times. Ingredients for filling Chicken - 250 grams Onion - 2 Green chilly - 2 Ginger Garlic - 1 tbsp Chilly Powder - 1 tsp Coriander Powder - 1 tsp Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp Garam Masala - 1 tsp Cumin Powder - 1 tsp Pepper Powder - 1 tsp Marinate chicken with salt and all spices and keep it aside for 10 minutes. Heat oil in a pan saute onion until golden brown and add ginger garlic crushed and green chillies then add cooked chicken . Saute until all water is evaporated and slightly blend that in a blender for a fine filling. Now roll the dough into pastry sheets and cut squares. Add filling cover it and seal it with fork. Give an egg wash to get beautiful golden color on top while baking. Now bake these in a 180 degree pre - heated oven for 30 minutes or until you get golden brown color on top.
