Samosa Recipe - Perfect Street Style Aloo Samosa Recipe | Snack ON!

Samosas, or samoosa is something we all dig on, punjabi samosa is the type we make at home with moderate garam masala flavor, nuts and peas.. Here I'm going to show you how to make street style samosa with the perfect dough, and filling. This street style chatpata, spicy yet tangy aloo samosa's mint, cumin and amchoor influenced masala is so addictive, once you try out you'd always make them this way. Subscribe for more food fun - Business Emails - How to make samosa - Ingredients : For Dough : Flour - 2 1/4 Cup Oil : 3 Tbsp Water : to make stiff dough Salt : to taste Ajwain - 1/2 tsp Masala - Potatoes - 7 (boiled, refrigerated and mashed) Mint and Coriander - handful Ginger - 2 inch Green Chili - 2 Oil - 2 tsp Cumin powder - 1 tsp kasoori methi - 1/2 tsp each(whole and powder) Red Chili powder - 1/2 tsp Amchoor powder - 1 1/2 tsp Black pepper - 1/2 tsp Black Salt - 1/2 tsp Salt - to taste Chili flakes - 1/4 tsp Saunf - 1/4 tsp Coriander powder & seeds - 1/2 tsp each Garam Masala - 1/4 tsp Samosa Recipe - Method : • For Dough : Add flour, salt, ajwain and oil to a mixing bowl. Rub the flour with oil, once it resembles breadcrumbs, add little water at a time to form a stiff dough. • Cover the formed dough with a damp cloth for 2 hours. • For Masala : In a mixer, add in mint, coriander, green chili, ginger and blend to a paste using minimal water. • Heat a pan, pour in 2 tsp oil, add all the spices – red chili powder, chili flakes, coriander powder, crushed kasoori methi, amchoor powder, crushed coriander seeds, fennel seeds, whole kasoori methi, cumin powder, black salt, black pepper, garam masala and salt. Roast in low heat until fragrant. • Add the mint coriander paste, and cook for a minute or two. Finally, add the roughly mashed potatoes and mix well with the masala. Let cool. • Forming Samosas : Once the dough has rested, knead the dough for a minute. Divide into 4 portions and knead down to smoothen the portions. Keep the dough portions covered with a damp cloth. • Roll the dough out in an oblong sheet, divide horizontally, then roll further as shown in video. • Smear water in half part the flat end, form a cone by sticking the wet edge. Fill the cone generously with the stuffing, smear water in the round edge and stick together as shown in video. • Place the formed samosas to rest until the skin feels dry and rough, approximately 30-45 minutes. • Warm oil to deep fry the samosas, add them in and fry in low heat until golden brown. How to fold Samosa perfectly with equal Size and shape for Ramzan with homemade sheets. Ramadan Special Homemade Samosa Patti Sheet Recipe by Kitchen With Amna. A Perfect way to make samosa at Home with inches. Length Should be 9 inches and width should be 3 inches. When you make samosa then you should first fold it into 5 inches. Ingredients: Plain Flour 2 Cups Salt 1/2 tsp Oil 2 tbsp Water as you required Direction: Step 1: Take a bowl and add Plain Flour, Salt and mix it well and then add Oil and mix it well and then knead the dough with water (dough form should be hard) and then rest it for 20 minutes with cover on room temperature. Step 2: Now make small balls of dough (I made 8 with this) and then dust dry flour on kitchen slab and rolling the all breads one by one. Step 3: Now make layers of the bread. For this take a bread and spread oil and dust dry flour and then put second bread on it and then spread oil and dust flour and then put 3rd bread on it and then spread oil and dust flour. follow this method for all 8 breads. But last bread should be dry (do not spread oil). Step 4: Now rolling this layered bread until it become too thin. After that take a tawa/pan and slightly preheat it and put this bread on it and cook for 30 seconds each sides. After that separate each bread from it immediately. Step 5: Now take a scale and cut this breads. Length Should be 9 inches and width should be 3 inches.
