Hi everyone! Ingredients and Nutritional Info are in here! Open Me!! Today I have an awesome recipe to share with you for my third weight-loss recipe! I have been craving italian food as of late, and since I am clear to eat normal food again, I thought I'd try tackling the task of making lasagne WLS friendly. I think I succeeded with my lasagna in a bowl recipe! No noodles, low carb, HIGH protein and utterly delicious. I hope you'll give it a try the next time you have a hankering for some classic italian comfort food. :) **Please consult your personal surgeon/nutritionist if you are not sure you can eat any of these foods** This meat sauce recipe makes enough for 8 servings like I've shown put together here. I like to store it in the fridge for up to a week. It also freezes awesome! Ingredients (Meat Sauce): 24 oz of your FAVORITE tomato sauce. (I used Francesco Rinaldi Original Traditional) 16 oz turkey sausage (Or your meat of choice) 1/2 large yellow onion, diced 3 cloves fresh garlic 1 tbsp (14g) butter 0.5 tbsp (7g) extra virgin olive oil 0.75 tbsp (9.5g) of white sugar 1/4 cup (2oz) of water 1/4 tsp dried basil 1/4 tsp dried parsley 1/8 tsp dried oregano 1/8 tsp dried herbs de provence (or italian seasoning) 1/8 tsp garlic powder Salt & Pepper to tase Ingredients (Cheese): 2 oz park skim ricotta cheese 1 large egg 1 oz freshly grated parmesan cheese 1/8 tsp dried oregano Salt & Pepper to Taste 0.5 oz freshly grated mozzarella for final preparation Nutritional Information: This information is for 1-4 oz serving just like I put together in the video! (3 oz of sauce, 0.5 oz of ricotta mixture, 0.5 oz of mozzarella) 1 serving= -266 calories -15g Fat -863mg sodium -12g carbs -7g sugar -22g protein!! Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/mdsaladin86/ Recipe 1.5 lbs ground meat 36 oz Spaghetti Sauce (2- 6oz cans tomato paste 24 oz water 2T Italian Seasonings 1/2t salt) 1.5 Lbs Shredded Mozzarella and Cheddar Cheese 2 eggs 1 Box Lasagna Noodles 1/4 C Parmesan Cheese Mix 2 eggs with cottage cheese and 2 Cups of Cheese together Mix Meat and spaghetti sauce together Layer 1- Meat sauce, cottage cheese mix, sprinkle shredded cheese then add noodles. Layer 2- Repeat Layer 3- Meat sauce and top with cheese. Do this to both Pots Add 2 Cups water to the Instant Pot Spray foil with oil and place on top of the first pot then add the second pot on top. Spray another piece of foil and place it on the other pot and then place the lid on the pot so they are stacked. Put them on their stand and then place them into the Instant Pot. Place the lid on the pressure cooker and set to ((revision) 60 minutes to cook only if you are using the 2 pots.) Allow the pressure to naturally release for 15 minutes then do a quick release. Remove the PIP from the Instant Pot and remove the foil. Allow the pots to sit undisturbed for about 10-15 minutes. Cut and serve! Music Provided By https://www.hooksounds.com/
