Ingredients (moong ki daal ka halwa recipe )- 1 bowl moong daal (green grams), 5-6 pieces each of cashews, almonds and pistachios (finely chopped), 12-15 pieces raisins(kishmish), one and half bowl sugar, 3/4th bowl ghee. Procedure- (a) soak the green grams in water for 6-8 hrs and grind them in a mixer to make it into a thick paste. (b) Take a pan with heavy base and heat the ghee to it. When the ghee is sufficiently heated, add the moong daal paste to it. Keep stirring until the paste turns slightly reddish. Now keep aside this paste. (c) Take a pan with heavy base. Add sugar(qnty mentioned above) and 1 bowl water to it and keep stirring it until it turns into slightly thick syrup. (d) After the syrup is ready add the moong daal paste to it and keep stirring until it turns sufficiently thick. In the end add the chopped dry fruits, and keep mixing. Your delicious halwa is ready to be served.

Moongdal ladoo is made up of split green gram, sugar and ghee. very tasty and healthy recipe . Ingredients- splitgren gram- 250 gms 2 tbsp semolina powdered sugar 100 gms ghee 70 to 80 gms cardamon powder- 2 tsp chopped dry fruits Method- wash and soak dal for an hour. strain excess water and spread on cotton cloth and let it dry for 4 to 5 hourds or overnight . roast dry dal for 10 mins. let it cool. grind . heat pan, roast daal flour on low flame for around 45 mins. keep adding ghee in intervals. after 20 mins roasting add semolina and keep roasting. add ghee intervals. after roasting for 30 mins, add ghee and roast chopped dry fruits in it. mix . add cardamon powder and roast for more 5 mins. once the flour is brown in colour,switch off the flame and let it cool completely. once cool add powdered sugar . mix. make lemon size ladoos. store in air tight jar and can eat for 2 to 3 weeks.
