Macher Kofta curry or Fishball curry is a Bengali old school delicacy!T his curry can be paired with any Indian mild flavoured rice or plain steamed rice for Dinner or Lunch! The best part of the recipe is that you can use any fish you have in the refrigerator to make this dish!
Here is the ingredients list:
For Kofta: ( for 18 koftas each 40 gm)
Basa Fillet 500gm
¼ cup chopped onion
1 big boiled Potato
1 tbsp Grated Ginger
1 tbsp Grated garlic
2 Finely chopped Green Chilli
¼ tsp Ajwain
5-6 sprigs Chopped coriander leaves
Salt to taste
1 Egg
2 tbsp cornflour

½ tsp Cumin seed
4 Green cardamoms
3 Cloves
2 Bay leaves
1” Cinnamon stick

2 tsp Cumin powder
1 tsp Coriander powder
1 tsp Red chilli powder
1 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Garam masala
½ cup Chopped tomato
1 tbsp Ginger paste
2 tsp Garlic paste
1 big Red onion paste (appr 1 cup)
⅓ cup mustard oil
1 tsp Ghee
